Ada Magdalene LLC started in 2005. I wanted to make natural, effective skincare that would be beneficial to use over time. My eye was not on shelf life, but on ingredients and how these ingredients would work. Could a lotion be made that actually moisturized, and protected skin without having to be applied every 30 minutes? Ada Magdalene's luscious lavender lotion, and the Ginger-Lime Lotion emerged as favorites. Alpha-Hydroxy Creme (AHA) emerged as a favorite this year. Soon, a wonderful serum and a face wash gel will be added to the line. In 2008, No'Squito Spritz became part of the line. It works to detour mosquitos, knats, and deer flys! Over 150 bottles sold!
I use organic vendors offering quality products, made in the U.S., for my base materials. Pure essential oils, silk powders and other ingredients create lotions and creams that work.
I listen to customers. Customers share problems-about what they've been using, and tell me what they want to see in skincare. Then, women try something from the Ada Magdalene line. It's a partnership. It always has been, and will continue to be a partnership. This is one difference in service at the A.M. Boutique. That's why we are proudly serving many repeat customers. And this is why the A.M. Boutique is able to donate gift certificates, gift baskets, and financially to several causes and events in the Annandale community and beyond.
Offering quality and value are two action points. Acting socially responsible is another point. Delivering caring service is a third point. Fair, responsible pricing is a fourth point---pricing that allows value, the ability to pay the bills, and move foward.
